Went to Buckingham palace today. Saw the changing of the guard which was fun. Turns out I left just a couple of hours before the new king arrived. There were quite a lot of people there, many brought flowers and things like that.

After that I went to the British museum. There’s so much to see that I didn’t get to it all in one afternoon but I did see a good chunk of it which was very neat. When I got back to my hostel I met one of the new girls moving into the room and she and I went to the karaoke event that was happening at the hostel (she sang, I did not). A good day all in all, 3 people asked me for directions and I was able to help them all (even the person who needed directions in Spanish!).

Sorry for passing on the “Ask Me” sign to you. Impressive that you stepped up in Spanish – Ole!! Miss you!
You are definitely visiting and experiencing England during an important time in their history with the Queen’s recent passing. She was such an incredible monarch. Should be an interesting and memorable experience for you Mimi.
