On to Barcelona! No post yesterday since I didn’t get up to too much. Not that I did much today either, just sat on a train for almost 7 hours. My tain left from paris mid morning and I spent the 7 hours happily watching out the window. I totally lucked out with my seating arrangement. I had a window seat on the upper level and no one in the seat next to me for almost the entire ride! Can’t ask for more than that. Also pretty sure I saw some wild flamingos just as I was leaving France? Are there flamingos here or was that a hallucination? Either way, there was definitely lots of very scenic countryside, many cows and a beautiful view of the water. My hostel in barcelona is quite nice, feels almost like a hotel, minus the 5 other people in my room. There are lots of hostel events and meals you can participate in and even a rooftop pool. Didn’t do too much exploring today, but I’m very excited to enjoy the warm weather tomorrow!
